Grape variety and know-how
100% Cabernet Franc.
Harvested when perfectly ripe. Achieves a perfect balance between acidity and sweetness from the very moment the grapes are harvested – the date must therefore be perfect. Grapes are pressed as soon as they arrive from the vineyards, to reduce oxidation of the juice.
This wine is a true icon of its region and boasts a deep pink colour. The Cabernet Franc offers a lively nose with redcurrant and tangy fruit notes. Lively and soft on the palate with notes of fresh fruit such as raspberries. The beautiful balance of sweetness and acidity makes this an excellent choice to accompany both spicy, exotic dishes and desserts like the region’s famous Crémet d’Anjou.
